I have been learning Asp.Net MVC for a while now and have gone through numerous tutorial ranging from MVC Music Store to Code-First to Custom Membership to Data Annotations.

In essence, I have a firm grip on how things work in this new framework. But, there are few things which i am not able to realize and understand on my own. Stuffs like achieving pagination, product Catalog, AJAX and some other things. Therefore i was thinking of learning and knowing these aspects via any opensource CMS, shopping cart or any other type of system. This way I can see the code and understand how these things can be achieved in Asp.Net MVC.

Things were pretty easier in regular Asp.Net as we weren't dealing with the HTML so i am bit sluggish in these departments and need help in small matters like pagination.

So, Are there any available opensource Asp.Net MVC CMS or any other type of system utilizing razor ?

I've learned quite allot from the N2 MVC templates. –  Louis Somers Nov 3 '11 at 18:26

A good open-source MVC shopping cart is nopCommerce, and you could always check out the Orchard source code for a fairly complex CMS system. They both use razor.

I looked at nopCommerce, at many places it uses telerik controls and sways away from Razor. Will take a look at Orchard....Thanks mare –  Pankaj Upadhyay Nov 3 '11 at 16:48

Perhaps I misunderstand what you mean by 'razor' then... You can use Telerik controls in a razor view; they're not mutually exclusive. –  Eric King Nov 3 '11 at 17:15

Since I am shifting away from custom controls development as in regular asp.net, I want to learn use of razor view engine without any such controls. –  Pankaj Upadhyay Nov 3 '11 at 17:43

That's cool... just plug in your own code where a Telerik grid is used. The 'razor' part is pretty much the same. –  Eric King Nov 3 '11 at 17:50

Plus nopcommerce is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to integrate into an existing site.... so if you wanted to merge Orchard & Nop - good luck... nop breaks if you attempt to move it into an area. –  bbqchickenrobot Jun 23 '13 at 5:07
