I wrote a project using C++, and I want to sell its source code. Thus, the source code is available for those they want to buy it. What kind of license is suitable for such project? And in this case, can we consider the application as an open source software?

It's difficult to tell what is being asked here. This question is ambiguous, vague, incomplete, overly broad, or rhetorical and cannot be reasonably answered in its current form. For help clarifying this question so that it can be reopened, see the FAQ.

Do you really have clients for your source code? I'm not sure you'll find them easily! Selling source code is very difficult. If you don't have clients, please consider releasing your source code with a free license as free software (e.g. GPL v3). If your code interest someone, he could use it, and perhaps buy services from you. |
