So I need to make the interface of a Java-database application a GUI. We coded the project in Eclipse, and I am going to import it into Netbeans. In Netbeans there's a great GUI builder, but I'm unsure about how to go about this.

Importing the project to netbeans should not be a problem and his GUI builder alleviates some tedious work with Swing.

Then the GUI could have a 1 to 1 relationship with your interface, but that depends of what your interface is and what it does.

Think of what the user would need of your interface and how it should be displayed, be friendly and intuitive, keep it simple.
