I worked with OfBiz and Opentaps for a couple months in 2005, and became very comfortable in coding with these back then. Now a few weeks back, I had a look to Opentaps code, and I don't think I understand or remember anything of the current codebase. Is it time to remove it from my CV as a technology I am familiar with? |

It depends on what you want to do and what jobs you are looking for. If you have no interest in using it anymore than remove it, otherwise list it in a way that shows your knowledge is dated or you are not as intimately familiar with it as before. bringing someone up to speed on a technology is far easier than training someone new, so even if your knowledge is dated its still more valuable than no knowledge. |

Sure - but do list the version and/or years used with it. In other words, be honest. If you're only putting it on there to look like you have current skills in that technology, then just don't. But if it has any bearing on what you want to do in the future, my first point stands. |

If you aren't familiar with it, then don't say you are. If you get a question about it in an interview and you can't answer it, you are shooting yourself in the foot. Now, if you worked with this technology for a job, include it as a point under that job to let it be known you've worked with it, but you aren't familiar with it any more. I've done this with a few different technologies, and I feel it gives a more honest view of my skills and abilities. |

"it depends" but IT is about knowing how stuff works and make connections to add value, if you know some stuff, let the interviewer aknowledget that because that's what he/she wants from you. |
