Microsoft created this ASP.NET documentation map that aggregates a ton of great links into a single PDF.

I'm interested in hearing what others have to say about this doc, and if they think other resources should be added. Perhaps MSFT will read this thread and incorporate your tips in this all-encompassing ASP.NET learning guide as well.

Many good questions generate some degree of opinion based on expert experience, but answers to this question will tend to be almost entirely based on opinions, rather than facts, references, or specific expertise. It's all very well, but I think since they are all links to information on the internet - MSFT should perhaps make it available as Wiki or at least distribute it as a HTML document instead of a PDF.

Also they could refer to non Microsoft links at least for the stuff that is clearly not their own IP like the JQuery Tutorials Website or the HTML5 standards website on W3C.

There are also lots of great documentation and code available on Codeplex for ASP.NET.
