Personally I like the vanilla Emacs with my personal customization.

For the evangelism/teaching part, I have found the Emacs starter-kit as an good option, so the new convert finds it Emacs easy and productive.

Recently I also found Emacs Prelude offering similar options. But I could not find a comparison between the two.

Do you have any experience / knowledge about these two default customization?
