I have a list of about 80,000 unique words or short phrases. These words and short phrases are associated with other data.

I'm trying to create a blacklist so I won't use any of the data associated with privacy sensitive words or short phrases. Example sensitive words or short phrases might be associated with sexual or illicit activity.

I'm looking for an established list of privacy sensitive keywords.

For example, this could be a list of words that Google has decided are privacy sensitive and won't store query logs of. It could be a list of topics that are considered privacy sensitive, and a list of keywords for each topic.

The list should be in English. By "established", I mean a solution used by a large number of people or endorsed by a large governing body.

What exactly are you trying to do? To me, it's not entirely clear from your question. Are you looking for a set of words that might indicate that something is related to illicit activity? Or are you trying to scan large bodies of text for the existence of a large number of keywords? Or are you trying to do some kind of machine learning to identify which keywords might be indicative of the text being about a certain topic? Please edit your question to be more clear about what exactly you're looking for. – Thomas Owens Oct 24 '12 at 22:47
I guess "I'm looking for any established list or solutions of this nature" wasn't clear enough-- I indeed want a list of privacy sensitive keywords. I would like a set of words that are considered "privacy sensitive" by some authoritative body. – user69914 Oct 25 '12 at 2:53

I'm not sure there exist a solution you can tap into to retrieve ban-able words, but there are a few sites which offer lists of words. How good they are...as you said, it's in the eye of the beholder.

Here is such a site with downloadable lists:
