I am going to delve into the nuances of Spring. I have a little information about this framework. So I am not going in blind. But still I will like to start it as a beginner and then move up the levels to all the associated functionalities.

I have RAD and apache tomcat installed. Does anyone know of any good sites or pdfs that will give me a good bottom up approach with proper examples?

One of my favorite books are definitly Spring in Action by Craig Walls and Ryan Breidenbach. You could also start with Spring MVC Tutorial which is free and covers enough to get you started. Later on I would use Pro Spring to dig deeper into Spring. The official reference documentations is also worth checking out, found here: Reference documentation
