As a backend coder my front end design is... pretty poor.
I really can't be bothered doing elance/freelance whatever website these days and do the whole bidding thing.
Whats a good way to find a decent designer?

http://programmermeetdesigner.com/ has a lot of interesting projects being posted up. I've bought designs from Theme Forest before and that's a real quick way to get a quality design. I've also contacted the designers who sell on there and have paid for bespoke work - you can see if a designer is for hire in their Theme Forest profile. 90% of the time I use a Theme Forest (or similar) template to get the project up and running and then worry about getting a unique or stellar design later. |
