I had an accident while working as a student some ten years ago. This resulted in a discal hernia in lumbar area - for those in the know, L4-L5. I'm going to a physio and know where the problems lie.
More recently, I've been experiencing pain after sitting a while. It can get to the point where it's difficult to work. The problem is when the lower back tends to tense up as I crane slightly forwards towards the keyboard/screen or the chair is an awkward angle towards the back. "Bouncy" chairs are bad too.
Do you have any tips for remaining comfortable during the day ? I have thought of having a dense cushion behind the lower back but perhaps there are other things I could do.
P.S: This question should actually concern everyone as my trouble is just amplifying discomfort.
