I'm struggling to make a decision with what I should do next year. Anyone who has any experience or insight would be so appreciated.
My background: I earned a Bachelor of Science from Western University (London, Canada) in 2012 with honours in Astrophysics, then went on to do teacher's college at U of Toronto and earned my Bachelor of Education. Most of my work experience is in education, but on the side I have developed and nearly finished an iPhone game which I'm quite proud of.
As I learned iPhone programming I discovered my love for computer science, and now I want to pursue it as a career. But I've already spent 6 years and lots of time on university.
My factors: I've read online that for the most part, you're ideally best off to do a University degree, then second best would be college, and if you can't spend the time, then learn on your own. But I've already got a degree, and proven that I can think like an academic. Is that likely to count in the eyes of the computer industry?
So my question is: should I go to college (thats community college for you Americans), University, or just work and learn programming on my own?
