Programmers Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for professional programmers interested in conceptual questions about software development. It's 100% free, no registration required.

Does anyone know of a reputable online program in .NET programming offered by a community college or an extension program?

The only one I could find was this:

http://www.ce.csueastbay.edu/certificate/NET/index.shtml

It seems decent only I would like to focus more on asp.net, silverlight and other stuff like that.

It's not exactly what you are asking for but Microsoft Certified Professional Developer lets you self learn online and via books - however I think you might need to go in to do the test. But either way, they are reputable and the books contain some good information.

They can often carry some weight on your resume as well, some job advertisements request them.

I will take a look at it. Is it different from Desarrollador 5 estrellas (don't know the equivalent in English)? – Oscar Mederos Feb 22 '11 at 4:42
To do the Microsoft tests it was a case of attending a local test centre and completing the tests on a PC there. – John Aug 29 '12 at 7:46
