I've been looking, but can't find anything about PDC 2011 except for a mention of it Engadget, which said it was going to be in September.

Is there anyone here who knows more?

Microsoft officially announced yesterday that PDC 2011 will be held in Anaheim, CA on Sept 13-16th.

I don't think there will be a PDC this year. Microsoft usually does not have PDC every year, and only holds them every couple of years when they have major new dev product updates or releases. 2009 and 2010 were an exception to this.

Note: I have no inside or special knowledge of this. It's just a guess based on past patterns.

EDIT: Just found your Engadget link (here for those who are looking for it), so what I've said above may be incorrect. But the Engadget post is strictly based on rumor, so I don't think we can say one way or the other at this point.

UPDATE: I saw this post today about announcements made during yesterday's MIX keynotes, and I interpret this quote:

Microsoft’s “next big developer conference” would be held from Sept 13-16 in Anaheim, California

to mean that maybe there will be a PDC this year in September!

That azure contest doesn't say PDC. It says the winners get to go to Microsoft. That doesn't mean there's a PDC but everyone assumes that what it means. – Cameron MacFarland Apr 10 '11 at 4:43
I rolled back the edit because the azure contest doesn't say anything about winning a trip to PDC. – Marcie Apr 10 '11 at 22:12
