Has anybody sat the 72-505 Winforms MS exam? I've just signed up for it for May (I got the exam free, as a student offer).

Was wondering what the level of the exam is like? I've been working on Winforms for 6 months on an internship and am fairly competent. If anybody has any, preferably free, resources for studying for these exams, it would be gratefully received.

Thanks.

Take a look here: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/exam.aspx?id=70-505#tab2 There you have all the skills measured. Then you can take a look at MSDN starting here and finding your own wait: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/8bxxy49h(v=vs.80).aspx

Or the book, I like these MS books because they cover exactly the subject of the exam :)

Thanks, I was looking at the books earlier, I may need to buy one as I only have 2 months to cram for it :) – Darren Young Mar 9 '11 at 14:40
Yes, and they are not so small, between 500 and 1000 pages, depending on the examination. But learning using MSDNAA and tutorials/forums, etc may be possible, but a little bit more risky than the book, I would say – Oscar Mar 9 '11 at 14:43
