Computer Science vs Computer Engineering
I'm starting university in the fall, and I have two options in front of me:
The ACS degree seems to be lighter on mathematics, but allows one to focus more on computer applications. From a "does this prepare you for the workforce", it seems like this might be a better degree.
I'm not sure, however, whether hiring managers might look down on someone with an ACS degree compared to a straight up CS degree.
Thoughts on which would be more advantageous? I'm looking to work as a software developer, perhaps in systems engineering, but I might end up somewhere else entirely.
