Programmers Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for professional programmers interested in conceptual questions about software development. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I am considering a Developmentor course in either Guerilla.net C# or WPF.

Are they worth it? What should I be expecting when taking a DevelopMentor course?

Their value to you is proportional to your desire to learn the subject

I did Guerilla COM a while back and found the experience to be positive on the whole but the courses are intense (by design) so if your level of interest in the subject doesn't go as deep as the course material, you risk becoming detached or overwhelmed.

The level of knowledge of the teaching staff was second-to-none and they like to have some fun where possible, but it is very much like army boot camp. In fact, the did shave their heads on one course....
