i am unable to find the answers to the following questions.Please help me resolve

(a) Name quantitative and qualitative techniques for analysing the usability of a software product.

(b) Compare the costs and benefits of the quantitative techniques.

(c) Compare the costs and benefits of the qualitative techniques.

(d ) If restricted to a single one of these techniques when designing a new online banking system, which would you choose and why?

it was edited by some one.it is not homework. i was studying just for my learning. There are many metrics so i donot know what counts in usability calculations – Afnan Jun 28 '11 at 16:22

Some books you might consider reading on the subject:

I like Rocket Surgery Made Easy as it was a quick and dirty guide on how to start usability testing NOW, and how to pitch it to management. It is vary small scale though.

The other two books I've only skimmed, but might be something good for you.

There are many books written on the subject of Usability Testing. At the end of the day, the sooner you find an issue, the better.
