Programmers Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for professional programmers interested in conceptual questions about software development. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I'll looking for a shortcut key combination that will take focus to the path toolbar that sits above my open file tabs and below the open-save-synchronize etc toolbar. It's very useful but irritating when I have to use my mouse to activate it.

I've had a look at keymap but can't see it. I'm on IntelliJ 10.5 Ultimate if that matters.

Main Menu | Go To | Show Navigation Bar (Alt+Home on Windows, can be changed in Settings | Keymap)

I don't use IntelliJ myself so this is just out of curiosity, your answer looks to me like it would toggle between showing/hiding the bar, rather than moving focus to it? –  Kevin D Jul 1 '11 at 13:10

No, it moves focus to the navigation bar if it's already enabled in the View menu. If it's not enabled, then it creates a pop-up navigation bar above the caret and moves focus to it. –  CrazyCoder Jul 1 '11 at 13:18

Thanks - I couldn't think what it was supposed to be called. –  Fritz Meissner Jul 2 '11 at 10:08
