Are there any iOS Development Certifications online? offline?

The University of Washington's Extension Program has a 3-class, 9-month certification curriculum in iOS and Mac Application Development. I think the coursework is in-class only, but there might be an online option as well. UW is a very well respected university. |

Pretty much everyone hiring iOS devs will care about the apps you have on the App Store more than anything else. That and whether you know Agile/Scrum/REST/OpenGL/Design Patterns/OOP/Unit testing/Continuos Integration so if you feel you should pad your CV you could try to add compliance to these 'buzzwords' :) |

I don't believe there are currently any certification programs for iOS, but there are a few reputable training programs such as those run by Big Nerd Ranch. I agree with the comments that if you want to put something on your resume to show that you know how to write iOS apps, it should be a link to your app in the App Store. Note: if you search for "ios certification", you'll likely find plenty of information related to certification for Cisco's IOS, which is completely unrelated to Apple's iOS. |

You could always go and get a Bachelor's Degree here. They provide you with a MacBook Pro, Adobe CS Master Collection, MS Office 2011 for Mac, an iPad, and an Android Phone (all current technologies, not older models) http://online.fullsail.edu/degrees/mobile-development-bachelors |
