I'm an systems engineer, with some focus on complex systems, signal processing and a bit of control systems. My current job title is "Senior Satellite Systems Engineer". I am also a hobby photographer, and avid android programmer. I am the programmer of the Android app Psychic Tester, Ham Finder, and Qsl Mapper. I am also the author of the blog, The Making of a Ham, and the photographer on PearsonArtPhoto.com.

comment Has there really not been one thing in the past 20 years that provided huge software development gains?
Integrated Development Environments should also be included. Personally my coding is at least 2x faster when I use an IDE, not having to manage pesky things like imports, etc.

I can't vote this one up enough... I really wish that I had learned to communicate better, and I know I'm not the only one. It doesn't matter if you're the smartest person around, if you can't communicate your idea to another person, you may as well not know it...

I'm maintaining some code for a piece of test equipment used by my company (And only my company). It's a mix between QA, Coding, and Maintainer really.
