Was C# MVP (2007, 2008, 2009, 2010), and Code Project MVP (for 5 years). I'm on the committee of Scottish Developers (a user group running software development events in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee and Aberdeen). Co-organiser of DDD Scotland (now probably the largest community grass-roots software development conference in Scotland.) and DunDDD (it's smaller Tayside offshoot)

If you are in Scotland look out for our upcoming events and conferences at http://scottishdevelopers.com

I also blog at ColinMackay.scot

So, to clarify this is a variant on 1 where all the URLs are in the JavaScript files. The main difference here is that you've taken out the magic string and replaced it will an environment configuration.

Unfortunately INETA hasn't really done much in the UK overall. What you see there is only really the tip of the iceberg in terms of what is available.

comment How to write a good exception message
For debugging only. They may end up in a log. They would not be presented to the user. I'm not a fan of presenting exception messages to the user.
