comment Form screenshot for legal proof of clicking one of the checkboxes?
@maple_shaft: The basic idea of adding extra database security would be the "insert only" permissions for all users except one admin. This log would be in addition to regular database activities, and would only be used for verification when needed.

comment Is there a reason to prefer lambda syntax even if there is only one parameter?
I'd prefer the labmda syntax for consistency with the cases where it is required.

comment Constructor parameter validation in C# - Best practices
This is upvoted? Am I the only one that think this is completely irrelevent to the question being asked, and sees "MessageBox.Show" as simply a placeholder to simplify the question being asked? -1

comment A friend wants some FREE CRUD code
I second the be VERY CLEAR about support... this type of thing can quickly turn from a quick little exercise to a project from hell once you are expected to support it, when you start getting the "lets tweak it here, that can't take long" requests rolling in

comment What is Java used for these days?
As someone stuck with lotus notes at work, I don't think I would ever want to use it as an example to support a technology... It is exactly the type of application that makes people say "java is too slow", and shines poorly on eclipse by comparison
