My boss wants a narrated line-by-line English explanation of our code I was going to make the same suggestion. The boss doesn't want a conceptual overview, he wants it line by line so it should be possible to crank out something in a day or so that creates utterly useless but superficially correct documentation. It wouldn't matter if it were a rats nest of if-elses in perl that was easily confused by corner cases, it would just identify variable declarations, modifications to variables, method calls etc (remember that it's line by line, it in no way groks the code). |
