Computer hobbist since I was a kid, living my dream as a programmer now. Also, no English isn't a second language; I sacrificed grammar and coherent sentences to try and learn x86 ASM.

comment How do you handle your Project Manager
I've proven the rewarding the boss by killing yourself theory a few times over. My solution for a boss like that last time ( as the lead for a team of contractors ) was to verbally rip them a new one, point out that a lot of the major issues being experienced by their product was because of their failure to respect their staff's estimates, then I told them I was leaving as I felt staying was pointless under their leadership, and finally I suggested they would lose their other developers unless they changed. That went over well.

comment Finding the time to program in your spare time?
Thats a fantastic idea!! I already do 9- 9 1/2 hours on a regular basis so it would be pretty easy to pull this off.

comment Are there any famous one-man-army programmers?
I used to read J. Carmack's blog/finger posts in the early 90's and what few papers he wrote... He is and still one of the Einsteins of video game engines and he's literally a rocket scientist :)
