@AmeliaBR. Thank you for observing the typo (def). About the definition lists: definition lists should be used for name-value pairs, and I always use them for this (have a look at my guestbook, for instance). I also loved display:run-in, but since its support is decreasing, you have to use the float or the content: trick, see rejbrand.se/rejbrand/news.asp?ItemIndex=169. When I talk about using b to mark up 'headings' in lists, I do not mean name-value pairs, but rather simple lists where I want to use a 'header' in each item.

comment Which of these 3 languages is easiest to convert to Delphi?
Indeed, C# is rather similar to Delphi when it comes to the design of the language, I think, but since it is a .NET language, I guess it might use a lot of strange .NET classes...

comment isn't number localization just unnecessary?
If I recall correctly, Mr. Burns is to blame for the latter problem.

stackoverflow.com/questions/5930714/delphi-invalid-float-value, stackoverflow.com/questions/5851647/…, etc. I wish the world would agree on using the period (.) as the decimal separator. A lot of things would be so much easier then. (I am from Sweden, where we use comma (,) as the decimal separator, but many mathematicians and scientists, myself included, insist on using period instead.) Still, the worst problem of them all, I think, is that Americans use these strange units that I have no familiarity with...

comment How much storage space do developers really need on work systems?
"Strictly speaking from work perspective" You need 1.5 TB for music and videos? (I use TBs at home to save films that Windows Media Center has recorded from my TV card -- I got hundreds of them, but this is my personal computer.)

comment WPF vs. WinForms - a Delphi programmer's perspective?
"As one of the architects behind WPF, Chris Anderson skillfully explains..." suggests that Chris Anderson is one of the architects behind WPF. Anders Hejlsberg is only a "technical fellow" at Microsoft Corporation, according to the quoted text, which thus doesn't prove his involvement in WPF.
