3.5? My family's Amstrad had a 2.5" floppy drive. And yes, CP|M was on disk 1 of a set of 4, and Logo was on disk 4. I don't recall what else was on there.

I've filed the odd bug against javac where it would crash emitting a stack trace. In cases like that there's no question as to whether the bug is mine code or theirs.

As it stands the question is missing a very important datum: what does his will say? The copyright in his work was part of his estate, so it might be with his widow or with some other legatee. He may even have made specific provisions - I have a section in my will which lists source directories on my hard drive; people who are to receive a copy; and licence terms.
