Which HTTP status codes are really OK? Sounds like a very vague concept to me. How should you know when the site fails, more than the developers do? It's almost like you would need to say set up testing for all the different scenarios of the app, which sounds an awful lot like the automated testing the developers of the site should be doing. |

Which past version of Netbeans IDE that has lightness almost equal or better than Eclipse Indigo? The IDE you choose has nothing to do with the code, you can use any project in any IDE. |

Why is the UI of nowadays application getting so “plain”? Amazon and Google are fairly similar in terms of design... perhaps not the Google homepage, but the rest, yes. |

How do operating systems… run… without having an OS to run in? I'm fairly sure that's what a BIOS is for - it's a really small OS that bootstraps running of the larger OS. |

To refund or not to refund this client? That's the thing though, 'a problem with the slideshow' is a bug that gets fixed and is not a showstopper, no project is ever 100% perfect the first time. That just sounds like an excuse on his part. I don't think you've done anything wrong here to be honest. |

Best method in PHP for the Error Handling ? Convert all PHP errors (warnings notices etc) to exceptions? Step 1 would be to not write code that issues warnings, notices, etc. |

What is the relevance of resumes in the age of GitHub, Stack Exchange, Coursera, Udacity, blogs, etc.? When you think about it, an avatar could be kinda like a head shot. |

How do you deal with the costs of too-rapid change? I like the idea of the customer setting the priority, the hard part is laying down the law and saying 'I've started on task X, no you can not change the priority now' |
