comment How to reconcile “not mocking what you don't own” with “expectations” in unit tests?
So, this was a pattern a developer who used to work for me started to implement. We were all naive then, I think.

comment An Introductory Tutorial for Neural Net Backpropagation with Simplified Math
well - the α is just a label - it's the greek letter alpha - and its only use here is to indicate the output neuron - as for the δ - this is the greek letter delta, and it's used in maths to indicate a change in value - so, δα is the error in neuron α

comment Do legal names matter with source code licensing in the USA?
you probably need to ask a lawyer - but copyright is copyright - you'd still have copyright on your work under and alias, but you would have a harder time enforcing it without disclosing you true identity.

and if you look at the other two answers here, you will see that neither say simply "because it's the rule" - they both lay out very clear justifications for the rule and use cases

wrt to the last paragraph - you have read the HTML5 specification for those elements, haven't you? w3.org/html/wg/drafts/html/master/semantics.html#the-p-element w3.org/html/wg/drafts/html/master/semantics.html#the-ul-element w3.org/html/wg/drafts/html/master/semantics.html#the-ol-element - particularly, if order does matter, then use the ol element (since this is the structural part) - you can still present it as a bullet list using CSS
