The last company I worked for put me in a large lab. All the walls had hooks for 1m * .6m white boards. It was whiteboard heaven.

comment Making money with Open Source as a developer?
Contracting jobs are irregular and in my opinion not a good career choice. Seems better to have either a salary job (reliable) or a startup (a gamble but at least there is a potential payoff).

Just did this four months ago when I started to teach myself perl! My ability to use vim and unix in general sky rocketed! Amazing.
