I am the subject of numerous documentaries. When I'm bored, I build large suspension bridges in my yard. I enjoy urban hang gliding. On Wednesdays, after school, I repair electrical appliances free of charge.

comment Real world pitfalls of introducing F# into a large codebase and engineering team
"The pool of hireable F# programmers [...] is non-existent" - Almost non-existent. However, if you do find a programmer who has or is willing to specialise in F#, they're likely to be pretty special.

comment “A”, “an”, and “the” in method and function names: What's your take?
I have never seen methods with names like WriteTheRecordToTheDatabase. If someone checked this in they'd get a serious talking-to.

comment Should I bother with trying to come up with names for these?
Understood. The Parsec/FParsec approach is to not return 'a directly, but to return a union of either Ok of 'a or Error of string.

comment Do you write titles in code comments?
is right: if code deserves a comment like /*Board initialization*/, it probably ought to be in a function called InitializeBoard. If your code structure is clear enough then you won't need comments.
