My best code is when I create as much as possible upfront not worrying about spelling syntax etc..

@Alex Bennett, One other thing, There are open source CMSes. If you get the source code. You could start with that, and then modify it to your liking. This would really accelerate building your own. It's like a hybrid approach. Who really wants to reinvent the wheel?

So, my model might have properties pointing to different physical tables behind the scenes? for example; ContactModel, shouldn't be a 1 to 1 match to the database table dbo.Contact in every case?
