@lorenzo I still haven't ponied up for one of these chairs, but my back and butt sure wish I had. Most ergonomic chairs retail between US$800-1200. Most chairs purchased by a typical corporation are upwards of $600 (IIRC), though they usually get a discount for large orders. Long wearing fabrics and cushion material are not cheap. So far, the most I've paid for a chair is US$200. In all honesty, the cushion barely lasted a year. The leather was fine, for the most part, with just slight wearing on one seam. However, the cusion had pretty much disappeared and it was pain in the butt.

@nathan Yes, my first thought was WTF? I can adjust my desk myself. Then I realized that with a typical desk, I wouldn't dare try that with monitor(s) and what not on the desk.

@lorenzo Unfortunately, a good chair is expensive. These are quite famous and well regarded. I wish I had picked one up during the liquidations after the dot-com bubble burst.
