comment Distributed SVN?
@gnat I don't see any discussion there. It's what you have posted as a question, explaining the rationale. My concern is about the commenting "spree" you are on, some of which are valid, some not.

comment Where Can I List My Opensource Project?
@gnat - read it again and you'll find there's more than just a link in the answer. Also, the OP seems to have got it.

comment Are external configuration files considered an antipattern?
@GaryRowe My experience has been otherwise. We have separate config files for different environments, which are picked up automatically by the build/deployment process. I might be wrong, but I think what you might be missing is automation.

comment How to create a “cult of quality”
@WesleyWerner : Good point. But I think that a 'cult of quality' should also embrace taking care of technical debt, which will (eventually) solve the boss problem you mention.

@ThorbjørnRavnAndersen : Sure. But looks like you have already deleted them and left some good comments on my answers elsewhere.

comment Can a non-programmer successfully run a software company?
@ThorbjørnRavnAndersen : I have since switched to Linux :) , but there are many well behaved Windows applications too. I suspect Apple hasn't written any.
