I've flagged this to move back to stack overflow. I don't know if the procedure is to go to meta on this or what. This was a "hard" computer science question with a definite, black and white, not subjective answer. Those that voted to migrate, I think, didn't realize this.

@camccann: I'd add that if you aren't immediately familiar with CH, then the question would seem much more unanswerable and possibly subjective than it actually is.

@camccann -- a bit nitpicky, but I would distinguish between bottom and "nothing at all", which is more like Void, no? Laziness makes it more and less complicated both. I'd say that a function of A -> B always produces a value of type B, but that value may have less information than one would expect.
