comment Should all classes have a default constructor as part of good coding convention
@whaley I mean in general, but for a reference language you can consider C++/C#/JAVA/PHP.

comment Fastest native C++ multi-platform compiler & IDE & debugger
@MahdiParsa: Although what you would eventually use would need feedback from others to decide, but for now I can recommend you, opt for something cross platoform, or at least one that works with Linux Distros.

Ah, I was thinking on that line too. So, anything that can't be classified into something else, can go under Technology, if appropriate?

comment Is it possible for two DLLs to conflict , preventing solution to build
Well I am not explicitly adding different versions. Basically I have a WPF app. Now, in order to add a third party feature, I have added some DLLs and it's these DLLs that are maybe in conflict.

Thanks. I was actually caring for definition and I feel this isn't any direct Programming/Software question.

comment Why should I write all the Statements within Try-Catch?
Try catches are must around codes which could fail due to reasons beyond your control. For example, a connection to a Database while the DB server is down. Other than that, putting them around every piece of code is indeed overkill.

comment Does it make sense to ask, “What is the difference between Design Pattern and Algorithm?”
@nikie: That means, if Dynamic Programming is a Design Pattern, then LCS and Matrix-Chain-Multiplication are Algorithms, implementing that Design pattern, right?

comment Does it make sense to ask, “What is the difference between Design Pattern and Algorithm?”
So that means, Design Patterns would only include the Signature for a function, but no implementation, which is a solution provided by the necessary Algorithm?

comment Should experienced programmers know database queries?
So one wouldn't need to focus on complex queries unless they would like to be an expert in the area of Query writing, right?

comment Should experienced programmers know database queries?
So, if someone did a non trivial project that used Database, he is expected to be acquainted with queries, right?
