Uncomfortable terminology I am from the UK and work at a fabless semiconductor company. Getting our work done correctly is important, else you end up with defective silicon. Referring to a senior member of staff, who has budgeted £xx,xxx for my work, on a test harness as a "chicken" seems really inappropriate! I guess it would be interesting to know which demographic of programmers actively uses these terms in daily conversation. |
