@dodgy_coder - format statemements inconsistencies? There are better debug tools now (Intel's debugger, tools like SciTools and so on.), but a lot of users still use write statements with IF clauses to signify the level of debugging.

@dodgy_coder - (it's Ldigas actually; it's statistically amazing how no one errs to this side). Why not F90 if it was available? What did you do with .NET+Fortran? I had a very pleasant experience with it on DOS (didn't use *nix back then, 1987ish), what problems did you encounter?
