How much web-design work should a web programmer commit? Hmm, well all I've been doing to be strategic about is try to create reasonable id and classes, but you know that's a good question in of itself: Is there any accepted standard or norm for naming web elements and if so, are there resources out there that document this? I do see your point, and it's well received. Gotta not lose the forest from the trees |

How much web-design work should a web programmer commit? haha oh no, I know you didn't! I was just reflecting. Yea, that's great advice. I often get overambitious and more prone to getting resistant to working on the project. Thanks! |

How much web-design work should a web programmer commit? Well, I guess the real question would then be "Should I be doing any preliminary design work FOR a designer" to which I've already received a "no, not at all" But yea, I see what you mean. Maybe a wasted question, shrug |

How important is XML for a developer? Yes. Maybe they have higher standards for what it means to know something before making any claims. Couldn't agree more. |

How important is XML for a developer? Did I say it was the best way? And as far as calling it data encased in tags, oh boo-hoo. This is programmers.stackexchance not SO. I'm thinking about my audience -- my audience is a person who doesn't even know the basics of XML. What's he going to listen to? Jibber jabber about the details of XML, or one quick sentence? Dang trolls programmers.stackexchange.com/questions/23189/… |
