I got my bachelor's degree in computer science at Université de Montréal in 2002 after my DCS in Computer Science Technology form the Collège de Valleyfield in 1999. I currently work as a Programmer Analyst.

If I make funny phrase, it's because English is only my 3th language. The first one is French and the second one is a version of Basic that is old enough to have a line number in front of each statement.

Why davrob60? "Dav" is for David, "rob" is for Robitaille, 60 is meaningless.

Why did an interviewer ask me a question about people eating curry? @tandu My answer was just a large quote of the Wikipedia article. I would say that the evaluation of such question is highly suggestive. |

Why did an interviewer ask me a question about people eating curry? @Marcin I'm not defending it, I just state what a Fremi Question is supposed to evaluate. Whether it's appropriate or not is an other question. |

Why did an interviewer ask me a question about people eating curry? @tandu It's the same thing when those kind of question are asked in an exam, but the important part is the approach, not the final result. You could plug better number when you got a better approximation of the variables. |

How do I constructively and professionally deal with anger when I'm on the job? @HLGEM @Jas this question was submitted at the very beginning of the site, maybe even while still in private beta, we where still experimenting at this time and what was on-topic/off topic was still to define. I agree, this question should be closed, and there is also a many of question the form the Betahistoric time that should be closed. |

How to deal with users who think their computer could think? @rwong You may notice that a rather old question: 8 months old, and this site is also 8 month old. So, this is one of the first question asked on the site and what was in/off topic was wot well defined at this time. Also note that getting feedback form users is important part of a development process. A programmer may have to where multiple hats, I personally got a "technical support" hat for the software that we use internally beside my phone. |
