Is there a symbol or shorthand for “and is increasing/decreasing”? Yeah, that's true. I still considered it however, seeing as that was the way the OP used to describe it on a whiteboard. |

Should a competent programmer be able to come up with his own shortest path algorithm? @Brian Yeah, agreed. The thing is however that one tends to forget that most of the time you're actually comparing a whole community's knowledge with your own. At least I tend to forget that. ;) |
