Development Teams - Can One Bad Apple Spoil the Bunch? I said time wasters because they waste time in conversations that are not constructive and are not related to work. I did not mean at all that they cause delay to the project. The defect in personality I meant is being talkative. And yes I agree with you that time wasters are better than other problem employees but I noted that other problems that are related to technicality usually get fixed when the employee become part of a good team because best practices become team culture. |

(5) Keep track of all change requests because it's very important for project manager to know the instability of requirements. Project estimation with increasing requirements What I mean is to do the following: (1) Ask for one person (may be per topic)to act as the requirement provider. (2) Accept only written requests. If you get request by phone call or verbal communication or meeting you should write the minutes and the requirements and say clearly what you are going to do and send it by email or written format and include the needed extra time. (3) when informing your technical leader state the impacted areas of the application so he can either advice you of better approach or support you in your decision. |
