Clojure and Linux nut with a long standing interest in virtual machines and fancy networking of all sorts.

At work (hytrust.com) I build man-in-the-middle boxes for benevolent purposes. Ask me how!

At home I play with Clojure quite a bit. I have been a functional programming enthusiast for many years and get quite a lot of personal satisfaction every time i use anything map-reduce related.

I am interested in projects and people that are trying to steer the world away from "the corporate castle" metaphor. If you have or are thinking about such a project I would love to hear from you. < my first name >@< my last name >.com

comment OS choice for functional developing
the ability to make a snapshot of your development environment that you can revert to later is a major advantage of this approach. you can also share the development env with interested colleagues

comment Is Clojure, Scala and other restrained by the JVM vs CLR
it's worth noting also that Clojure targets the JVM, the CLR, and JavaScript (via google Closure).

comment Why isn't OCaml more popular?
Did you perhaps mean "Finally, some people will never "get" [functional] programming"?
