@Sardathrion you misquoted me. I used to think the same way as you when I first started programming and the truth is, that comments aren't all they are cracked up to be. I suggest checking out Clean Code if you are interested in learning more about writing great code. It really helped shape the way I think about programming and I think it would help anyone that reads it become a better programmer.
