@Maxpm, I'm interested in the commercial use of FP and how much traction it has gained so far. There are plenty of people (like myself) who use FP for their own projects, but not so many out in the "real" world.

That's pretty much where I am now - using FP techniques when it makes more sense (mostly in Javascript) and missing them when it's just too awkward to be worth the hassle (C++, PHP)
