@BlueRaja-DannyPflughoeft a fair point that I had not considered! However, I feel that this question does answer this specific question with no context better. As the phrasing is not "What differences might you see" but "How could you tell two indetical .. apart".

I think that @BlueRaja-DannyPflughoeft gave an answer that would have been better in my interview. On reflection I may have indicated a lack of knowledge of TDD and this Q was given as an opportunity for me to talk about some attributes of TDD code. So for me, I think this was not a bad interview question. However, alone and with no other context I think I would agree with the answer to this Q. That and the community seems to have deemed this the best answer.
