I am avid Software Tester and have been working on Selenium from past couple of years. I have largely worked with java client driver of Selenium and have started dabbling in to Selenium 2.0 of late. I am also co-author of official Selenium Doc at Selenium Head Quarter which maintains selenium. Besides Selenium, I work on Manual Testing, Performance Testing and automated Accessibility Testing. To be strict or pragmatic? My comment may be tangential but your answer gave me insight in to why one should not fall for "Big Company" trap and why it is ok to leave a big company in few months for the reasons you described above. thanks for that |

Unable to convince on data hiding I yet prefer clickPrintButton(), method which might just do btnPrintorder.click(), instead of doing checkoutPaymentConfirmpage.btnPrintorder.click() through out the tests. And when I chain different methods from page object class I find tests more comprehensible but that may be personal preference. Thanks for your response Ross. |

So my assumption was right :) I see your comment about coding to interface and I assume (again assuming :-/) that I need interface of RegistrationData class to be used in RegistrationPage class. Is not it? I am indeed asking suggestion for redesign now and please let me know if I need to add more details to question. |
