@Peter Taylor: You cannot implement them without documentation, I mean that you should just be able to implement(it is not real to implement without docs, if is - that will be invention).

@Jon Hopkins: Agree, knowing of all algorithms is not mandatory to be a good programmer. I just brought an example(for search functionality).

comment Why aren't more desktop apps written with Qt?
1. Qt cares of memory management on its own, you have not to call 'delete' after each 'new'. 1a. C++ is NOT low level language, it is high level language with low-level 'abilities'. 3. I agree, but Qt provides to make a UI with QtDesigner and with 'plain code' in same time. 4. Agree again, but Qt also provides to use native APIs.

@Geret'kal: No, I'm looking for a reason. I agree with you at all, just want to find out the difference of other "similar" libraries.

@user16764: What you mean by saying higher level languages, isn't C++ a high-level language? Of course it provides low-level 'functionality', but that's a 'feature' which can be ignored and used only high-level mechanisms. Can you, please, give an example where C# is higher than C++?
