I'm a Haskell programmer, with my background in purely functional foundations of computing and Functional Reactive Programming (a functional way to make games / GUIs / etc.).
I was a member of the Perl 6 design team, until I had to learn Haskell to work on the Perl 6 bootstrap "pugs". I never looked back.
I'm currently working for Clozure Associates, on the CRASH SAFE project.

License for code snippets Yeah I hear you, thanks for making that perspective clear. |

License for code snippets @Joel, pondering it as a way to encourage people to fix bugs, etc. on the site rather than pasting it into their project and fixing it there, where it's no use to anyone. |

License for code snippets @Joel, making codecatalog.net, a site for code snippets. Just toying around with different ideas at the moment, I'd like to know what's out there (following this advice) |

Would it be ok if I decide to write all my Ruby as if it were Haskell? @delnian, ooh that's pretty nice. You seem to be missing a for: all(x <= next_x for x,next_x in zip(xs, itertools.islice(xs,1))). Didn't know about all either. :-) |
