Would it be ok if I decide to write all my Ruby as if it were Haskell?
@mcnemesis Your attitude about Ruby still being useful for scripting is a common one, but I actually think Haskell is a lot better at this than most think. I made a screencast demonstrating the idea (softwaresimply.blogspot.com/2010/06/…;. At the end of the day I think a lot of it has to do with what you're familiar with. Haskell does have a high learning curve, but if you're willing to invest the effort I think it can compete quite well with the likes of Ruby for scripting and quick experimental hacks.
