@Nim: I don't think it's an attitude that "we" need to get away from. It's a mere statement of the obvious. :-) Think about it for a moment and wonder what you'd consider to be legacy code if you were to arrive in a new environment; it'll be everything except the new & cool stuff that is being actively developed.
